Presentation of donations totaling £7,250 to local charities


Fourteen of the many real 'do gooders' in and around Kirkcaldy were welcome guests of the Club at an evening meeting; with Rotarians from the Kirkcaldy:Raith, Glenrothes, and West Fife Clubs also in attendance.

The 'do gooders' were representatives from charities doing sterling work at a time when all charities are 'feeling the pinch'. With each charity representative in turn giving a snapshot overview of Age Concern Kirkcaldy, Alzheimers Scotland, CHAS, Circle of Comfort, Crossroads Central Fife, Eden Mozambique, Fife SANDS, Fife Society for the Blind, Fife Young Carers, Maggies, MacMillan Cancer Support, Salvation Army Kirkcaldy, Samaritans, and Kirkcaldy YMCA, a total of
